The lightweight hard armor carrier incorporates front and back pockets which house durable composite armor plates. These plates are removable and interchangeable, allowing carrier to be washed and maintained for extended use. Additional savings can be realized by outfitting your officers with their own carrier which will allow them to share armor plates as needed. Each unique armor plate has a 25-year warranty, providing maximum protection and premium quality.

The Level 2 Plate will stop shots from handguns at 20 feet including:

• 22, 26, 32, and 38
• 9 mm
• .357 Magnum from a six-inch barrel
• .357 Magnum from a 20-inch rifle barrel
• .44 Magnum from a seven-inch barrel

• Magnum, fired point blank (10 feet)
• 5.7 x 28 mm FN Herstal -- This round penetrates Kevlar® like an ice pick.

• 7.62 x 25 mm Tokarev ammunition -- This is used in a low-cost 1952 Czech CZ-52 automatic handgun, and is a very dangerous round which will penetrate through a car door.
